Mikel Temo, born in 1964 in Korçë, is an Albanian painter and stylist residing in Canada. He graduated in Monumental Painting and Drawing from the Academy of Arts in Tirana in 1986. After completing a rigorous traditional art training program, he earned a PhD in Art in 1997.
From 1986 to 1998, Mikel shared his knowledge and passion for art with students as a teacher at the School of Arts in Tirana. Following exploratory travels through art museums in Italy and France, his work evolved toward abstraction, marked with traces of reality. His visual artworks are part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Arts of Albania.
As an internationally active visual artist, Mikel joins Struga ’25 to present his abstract work and share his deep educational background with fellow artists and audiences.
